TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

The Broker - What It Is

TabTrade opened in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

That last detail is relevant. It says the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, the breadth is not narrow.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Two major platforms from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently on the roadmap. That would make the platform set when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you move real size.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform run a much wider range.

Should you care? If you scalp, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.

Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket offer execution like this.

The FSRA Question

Here is the part you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. That does not make it safe. It should factor into your assessment.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works is your call.

Welcome Offer

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
